Surf is still dirty in Port A. Fished early with a top water. Only caught one trout. Grilled and ate that sucker right before I posted this report. Pelicans are tearing up the menhaden in the second and third gut. No mullet to be found in the surf today. Weird weather morning. Looked like winter on the beach except for the temp. and humidity. Put up a video just to show the diff. in the water clarity between PINS and Mustang Island. Only fished about an hour on PINS, but worked a hard morning to catch a fish in that dirty surf in Port A. Looks to me like better is on the way!

I was out there Saturday. Kayaked out to the Pelicans and menhaden and saw several large sharks cruising the third bar. Definitely looking better.

When you say "large" sharks, how large do you think they were?

We need the wind to switch for it to clear up. But if it turns sandy and the wind drops...they'll be there.
