...water has more of a green tinge to it than the chocolate milk from a few days ago. I was able to see silhohettes of big mullet in the breakers. Went into knee deep water and was able to see my feet. Barely, but a week ago that was not possible.
As for fishing, I probably caught a couple dozen hardheads. That wasn't too bothersome because that was one of the species I was targeting. Team Oso Hardcore Wadefishing is having a hardhead derby and I was not able to catch one to surpass my current leader of 17 1/2". Also caught 2 whiting. One only about 10 inches that became bait, but one went over 18. That's going to be dinner. Hopefully in the next week or so things will be more fishable but things are looking up. |
