No, not Deadly Sins, but rather the number of abandoned EZ-UP shades that I counted between Bob Hall and the Bowl!!!
Seriously People, you packed them down there, so I know your vehicle can take them home! It's not like they are cardboard like the PILES AND PILES of leftover fireworks tubes, they will eventually break down. The METAL pipes, not so much............ Show some class, take YOUR TRASH OFF THE BEACH........
And now we return to your regularly scheduled programming.

I don't understand why they left trash out there. There is a waste transfer station RIGHT THERE on the island!!!!
those stations completely eliminate dumping and littering.
really weird! |

Lazy a$$ humanity, they are everywhere and increasing! Up here, you can't go to any fishable shoreline without seeing scads of worm cartons, beer and soda cans, etc.
Just like the problems with poaching or breaking any other fish and game regulations, the fines and or other penalties are ridiculously low. No matter how high they COULD go, there are of course the human trash/criminal types who would still break such regs, but for at least 75% of those who currently do such crap, a $1,000 fine AND 24 hours in jail, mandatory, would make a dent. JMHO!
Of course this gets us right back to the REAL problem, which is close to zero enforcement!!!! _________________ Dave

Same thing bugs the heck out of me with shotgun shells while dove hunting. I hunt public lands via the 48.00 a year TPWD annual public hunting permit. Well they are not really public lands but the state leases private land, anyway, you would think since the average Joe has such a great opportunity to hunt these properties for basically free, people would keep the ground clean, nope. I fill up like 3 grocery bags of shells before I leave of other people's laziness in hopes the landowner will not be annoyed and continue to lease the land for public use. It's bad parenting. _________________ But you ain't got no legs Lt. Dan, I know that |

The thing is that for THAT, you probably WOULD get arrested...
Easy-ups aren't cheap - I wonder what a person could be thinking to just leave one on the beach? |

| The powers that be need to establish a permit fee in order for anyone to locate a "popup" on the beach, so the users will be paying for the cleanup and removal of such trash, as well, as the cost to police it. |
