| After getting nothing but whiting in the surf I wanted to have something tug on a line. Took the boat out and every place I fish with lures yesterday was brown; ugly brown . The south east winds pushed the Brown tide back up this again. Had to go all the way to the water line to find clear water to throw lures. Got a bunch of dinks and big skippies. |

| When we were cleaning our catch today at Billings, a fellow working next to us had limits on nice eating size drum. I asked and he said he caught them at the boathole, but I did not find out what he caught them on. |

Zia, I was in the Pita area yesterday too. We caught 2 - 16" Trout, several dinks, and many Ladyfish. It was a tough afternoon.
That was the first time I had taken the boat out in several months and I had several problems that I will be fixing today.
1. The running lights didn't work.
2. The power pole would go down, but not up. Bad connection somewhere. I had to loosen the hydraulic fitting so that I could manually pull it up.
3. Had to pump the bulb to get the boat to start. Strong smell of gasoline. I suspect a leak in the line lets air in and fuel siphons back into the tank.
That's what happens when you don't use a boat for several months! _________________ HighTide
