A slow but beautiful day out there today folks! 5 hours yielded one solid trout and one other bite. People catching fish sporadically but nothing consistent happening in the channel after this last front. Large schools of small bait starting to move through the channel. Here's hoping for a happy Tuesday...

That's a nice catch you made there!

I went out Sunday to the South Jetty around 10:30 am and threw a spec rig for about an hour. I didn't get a single bump. I looked around and nobody had caught anything. It was pretty grim. Reality set in and I came home. Crying or Very sad

Look on the bright side. At least you got to go.

In the DFW area, if you want saltwater, you have to add salt to the water.

In a couple of years, I plan to retire very close to the coast......
