Black drum on soft plastics? I've never had that experience, but have caught them on the bottom with shrimp.

So far we have caught 10-15 blk drum on soft plastics since last year.

Black drum will occasionally hit soft plastics. I caught one on a gulp before (molten color). Thought it was a red at first but once it came to surface I was in wow when I saw it was a black drum.

Nice catch. Yes, although not a common occasion, I've caught black drum on plastics and even on spoons.
