With the front moving thru, will the lower temps. shut everything down.
I guess I'm asking is if it's worth coming down? It's a 6-6.5 hour drive.
Thanks, David _________________ Salad, Salad, everywhere and not a bite to eat. |

| We are going for Thanksgiving and hoping for good weather. Last Thanksgiving we were there and the weather was terrible, cold with a north wind howling. I fished the surf and it's the best I have ever done. Caught several black drum and one nice red. We have been back four times since and weather was nice but seaweed bad. It's always a gamble I guess. Good luck to you! |

Man if I was that far away from saltwater Id be itching to get down here whenever I could!
I feel like this front will actually help get the fall fishing back on track. However the north winds will push the tides up. Good luck if you decide to come down! _________________ "I never had an Easter, but I've always had a bunch of speakers" - Beardo |

| You are coming during the full moon, and I rarely do well during the full moon period. The new moon is my favorite time to fish, but there are other factors to consider, such, as wind, temps, etc., so if I were you and had to travel 6 or more hours to the coast I would target the best prospective time. I've fished many years out of Austin and it sure is a bummer to come up an empty hander after so much time and money invested. Good uck with your choice. |
