| Haven't ever had the pleasure of a gulf coast duck hunt, was just wondering if a guide would be the way to start off? Or maybe one of you fine folks would take my wife and I out? |

tommyknocker, we head out East to POC but if you like to camp my wife and I always make a trip in December and every weekend in January. We camp the weekend on Matagorda Island and hunt the freshwater ponds on the WMA there as well as the bays.
