Wife and I will be staying in Port Aransas from the 14th. thru the 18th. and I was interested in finding out if anyone has been catching any of the three I listed?

I know weather is going to play a big part on any fish activity, but we have not been down in that area in a few years now and really would like to try and get some fish to bring home.

Thanks in advance.

On Saturday evening fished in the Packery Channel area and was catching croaker as fast as I could put a line in the water. All caught on shrimp and fishbites. They were smaller though, had one about 12 inches and the rest were about 6 to 9 inches. Mosquitos were thick though.

We fished port a last week and did not see any croaker caught. The big pomps are coming around and we caught about 15 of them. Lots of smacks and skipjacks.
