Hey everyone. My younger brother is on leave this week from the military and has been wanting me to take him shark fishing. Beach is weeded out and we had no success last week before sharkathon. Are any of the bay channels known for holding decent size sharks. Any info greatly appreciated. He will be leaving this Thursday so pressure is on. Thanks.

I'm sure the Lydia Ann or port Mansfield can hold some! Apparently some structure can be found throughout the Lydia Ann. Try drifting with the current

You should be able to catch one on a skip jack or Whiting up to 7ft in a deep 2nd gut around the 45MM this time off year. Might take 2 hard nights! Dusk and 1 hour before high tide is the sweet spot.

North jetty in port A should be able to catch a small 6 footer on mullet in the third gut in the surf. Go early stay late or spend the night at the Shark Camp 1/2 way out the jetty

Port O Conner jetty with a boat set up between the Bouys at the end and drift
PM for more info,
Hoggeman

Thank you very much for those tips. Definitely considering the Port A jetties.
