I have been adding a lot of LED lighting to my flounder boat under the gunner walls and such but now it's time to mount an underwater transom LED. I have already bought the LED and my question is to anyone on here that's actually mounted one to an aluminum boat. I want to mount it right above the back of the tunnel on the transom but I'm worried that the lower unit may cast a shadow, as the light beam may be obstructed.

Any Information would be greatly appreciated.
