I'm pretty sure that a big jump either downwards or upwards in water temperature isn't good for fishing. I keep up with the www.tides4fishing.com barometric pressure also. My buddy also told me that the fishing charts are really accurate and on days where the chart shows fishing poor, fishing for him for the most part has been poor. I use www.ezfshn.com for the chart.

There are hundreds of folks that read these posts daily. Does anyone have any opinions on how the:

Weather
Water Temp
Barometric Pressure

have effected their fishing through the years? When I used to bass fish in my grandpas tank, right before a good cold front was an excellent time to fish. This past weekend it was raining here and most folks stayed home but some places near Galveston closer to Crystal Beach, they also had rain, yet the folks I saw online were killing the Reds up there. So I often wonder how much weather really affects the fishing.

better bites on lower pressure days (below 30) for me. when the pressure is actively falling, and not just holding low, it seems to be even better.

water temp doesn't matter unless it's below freezing, or a 10 degree change or more either way very fast.

I truly believe in the barometric pressure, and 70 degs is the perfect temperature. 29.94 or lower and cooler temps. Can't beat it.

Of these three BP is arguably the most important factor. Like IMS said above.
