Headed down to 15mm and crossed over.

0mm-5mm
Water side is clear all the way to 5mm ( Saw a toyota corolla ..lol )

5mm-10mm
Conditions are great, only had to use 4x4 twice. Just after the 5mm you will find about 100yards of soft sand, but if you cross over closer to the water it's much easier.

15mm
"Yarborough pass" was another story. She was thicker then she was last month that's for sure...lol. We punched through her in "low" all the way. Your going to have to pass her going at least 35-40mph. Guy behind me thought the estimate was too fast and he bottomed out his truck. SO HIT THE PASS FAST if you head that way!

Fishing was amazing! Limited out on specs and black drum in 4 hours...No reds today.

You got up to 40mph in 4x4 low? That's what it took. That's heavy stuff. Good fishing !

Ive never gone though the pass on high. Always keep it on low...40mph "more or less"...I'll pay more attention next time, maybe more like 32-35

Then again we only hit it at that speed then of course slow down due to sand. Main thing is to get solid momentum.
