I actually went to an event last night where the lead on this project gave a presentation on it. The link there is the prototype model so it's not the one you should use.
The data is gathered at Bob Hall. Learned all of the specifics regarding what it can do and how it does it. Pretty cool stuff. The non-prototype model seems to be very accurate if you're looking for info on the near shore swells. Probably more useful for our surfer friends than anything. |

Just got wind finder (free) yesterday, and looks quite accurate so far.
Will get a full review when (if) we go offshore this weekend.
