Went on another adventure on 7/30/14 around 0230. I was greeted to SUPER LOW tide with absolutely no tidal movement and winds SE @ 20+mph. So let's jst say that I wasn't to enthusiastic about the night. Well I ended up hitting 2 quick spots around 5 miles from the dock. 1st spot was just about too muddy to fish but I was able to come across sparatic patches of fishable water. Ended up with 6 flounder there in about 4-8" of water. Then made a move about 2 more miles north and found some OK water that was protected from the hard SE wind. This last spot would give up 9 more fish for a total of 15 flounder. I called it a night just 2 hrs into the trip and headed back to the dock @ 0430. The low tide and hi winds could have it for that night.

Until next time

Thanks. Yea I run 3 apps for weather & tides and I only checked 2 of them. Those 2 were calling from 9-12mph. The 3rd was right on when I hit the water. It said wind speed of 17 with gusts to 23.
