my pal and his dad and I headed to national seashore this morning. just a 6 mile drive off of blacktop. throwing from beach and guts were full whiting. some to 16". was great time. catching over 100 in 2 hours between three of us. fishing for whatever was biting and not targeting a specific species is fun. started putting some in cooler and decided might as well get a mess for fryer. cleaned 64 nice ones. think it was a great day at the beach. driving was good. no hard heads.big pluss. and fun.seaweed was very minimal.
