Now that the wind has finally laid a bit, I was hoping to get some time to get out for a few hours this weekend. I am thinking about heading out of packery to the first few rigs. This will only be my second trip out past the jetties since we bought the new boat.. Any tips, advice?

If you are bottom fishing for snapper make sure you use circle hooks.

1 or 2 oz weight with squid always works.

Its going to be busy out there with the great weather and holiday, I'd target kings.
