Where is Big Bayou located in Rockport and would it be accessible by kayak? If so, where would be a good launching point? Also, I am hearing rumors of a boat that sank on the other side of Traylor Island. Apparently it is visible from the island. Is this true and what cut is it closets to?

Thanks!

Your best bet for launching nearest and safest is the Cove Harbor ramp. There are two large blue dry boat storage buildings next to the ramp so you cant miss it. You will have to paddle across estes flats but it should be wind protected from traylor island and a easy paddle. Hug the shore shallow and you will prob be able to sight cast to reds along the way to big bayou. get em!
