Took the family out with kayaks. Paddled to islands across the channel and started throwing plastics. Tried Logic Lure, Corkies, DOA under cork, and super spook. No takers, no bumps, no follow ups. Water very calm and still poor visibility. Tried copper, black, pearl and root beer. Saw 2 other kayakers, 4 boats and one wade fisherman and didn't see any fish landed. Tough conditions, need some green water I think.

Hope someone else had better luck!

Saw you guys out there as I drove across the causeway yesterday. Water is a little better as you get closer to Packery, but I think that goes without saying. Was hoping you guys would have decent luck, oh well. The Laguna was slow for me as well Thurs and Fri afternoon.

Thanks for the report.

I was thinking of Deadmans and know the water is better, but didn't want to fight the weekend crowd. I guess I should have tried. Spent today working on a boat I'm building, maybe the water will clear during the week and will try a morning run.

Glad to hear that there's trout in Deadman's. Last trip I caught all dinks and one flounder that shook the hook at the boat.

Everybody have a good week...
