Since August I've been messaged to death about where I get my Rip-n-slash lures. They are all over Florida but just not around Texas as much. Treasure coast tackle was sold out for the looongest time. They were back ordered everywhere. Finally FINALLY! They are back! Just in time too since I lost my last dinkum and rip-n-slash. They are slow sinkers with a rattle. Great for when they dont want a topwater.

I like the live glow and olive ghost. Thought they were hyped until I snagged a few big girls with 'em. I'm sure WildMan remembers this gator.

NO I am not sponsored by the lures or the company. I've done business with them before and they are always awesome and the lures work great. Give em a shot while they are still in stock. Dinkum mullet 70's are my favorites out of all of the sizes. They dont have any more black backs but all the color patterns work well. The code "Texas1" will get you 5% off your order. Figured I would give y'all a heads up.

I got a rip n slash and it took about a month to receive. Evidently they were changing their hooks and they were back ordered to china. I finally did get it and they threw in a free lure. Can't wait to try them out.

Yea I think the hooks were getting some complaints. I loved the design of them but they were a bit weak. When I brought it up with treasure coast they told me that the owner of unfair lures went to china to get everything sorted and beefed up with newer hooks. They also have some new patterns coming out. It only took 3 days to get to my mailbox now that they are stocked up.

Just a twitch pause twitch twitch over grass will get em. Going to do a video on it soon.

I have had the Dinkum Shrimp since last July. Love it. I've caught jacks and specks in the surf, and reds and specks in Louisiana with it.

I just ordered mine online direct from their web site.

Their info says they use Eagle Claw Laser Sharp or Mustad hooks, depending on model. Has that changed from before?

Good looking baits, but ten freaking bucks each?????? Ouch!!!! Shocked Embarassed

The originals use eagle claws and the newer models have the mustads. I'll ask them and find out which colors are which.

If that's true and the original hooks were having problems, doesn't say much for Eagle Claw. Still, there's way too much grey in there.

The 30+ pound Wahoo that I caught last year was taken on a small (1/0) Mustad Demon Perfect Circle. I put as much load as I dared on that fish on the 20 lb test and buggy whip rod just to keep from being spooled. The hook was in great shape after the battle, showing a slight bending open from the load, but still in way good holding profile. I really like the hook mentioned, and they are WAY more affordable than my favorite, Owner. Wink
