hopefully my boss spent see this but my room mate and I are playing hookie next Monday to go look at spots on our kayaks. my roommate can't swim, so a pfd on board is a must. I checked some spots on the image is there anything anyone can't tell me about those locations? how deep do they run and is there any concern I should be aware of?

They are not extremely deep but do drop.

Orange:
I saw a guy loose his kayak while he was walking it....(Tried to help him out for the record....lol) He had to cross that area by foot. Water went up to his neck. Careful with the little island as they are protected.

Yellow:
Don't know much about that area.

Green:
Its a nice hole I've always seen although never fished it. Though I can tell you that to the right of that hole which is close to cosway is where I collected sand trout. They are in the marsh as the Humble channel begins to drop off.

Thanks for the detailed pic, I never realized there were so many places that look like they would be fishy on the south side of the JFK, maybe I can get my sled in there too....good luck & please let us know how you do.

To the left of the yellow circle in the flats should start seeing some reds up there as the weather warms up. Don't know about the other spots.
