Howdy all I've been working the back bay on a regular basis and have been seeing the redfish action increase each time I've gone out & my son Stinky and those who have gone fishing with me are thoroughly enjoying the knot testing, rod bending, arm burning action.

The outgoing tides & live bait are working well even though that one has a gulp in its lip, most all the keepers were caught using live bait.

I know this looks like a selfie but I couldn't think of another way to CPR this 23 and a half incher that needed to grow some.

I have been dreaming about catching up with a school of tailing or feeding reds since last fall and a couple trips back while catching some reds late in the afternoon near "Area 65" I call it, we noticed a dark body and tail exposed just 50 yards from the boat and repositioned to get a closer look and sure enough, several oversized reds were kind of sliding up un this reef right beside us and of course there was too much excitement, at least on my part to stop and take a pic or video, still kicking myself for that, anyways we threw everything we could think of live, dead & gulps at them for several minutes as the sun was setting but none of them wanted any part of it....maybe they wanted crabs, either way it was an awesome sight to witness.

We have seen a few black drum but not near as many as I expected, and very few specks. Well hope you enjoyed the report and hope to see you on the water.

Nice reds and I like the flounder too. They seem to be moving a lil better now with the warmer temps. Been seeing a few lately.
