Anyone have a recommendation? We are looking for fish to take home, so no catch n release only guides. Will be 3 of us renting a house down there with a pier. Would like for the guide to pick up up there and head out. Thanks in advance.

I recommend a guy out of Corpus Christi by the name of Noe Garza. He's a former marine biologist that has been guiding since the 80s. He's super knowledgable about everything Ive ever I asked him about and is more than willing to share info if you ask.

He usually does 8 hr trips out of Bird Island and supplies bait, tackle and does all the cleaning. AND, he guarantees that you catch fish! (at least eight the last time I made it out with him). I know he used to have a cabin out there and had an overnight package at the cabin with a day trip on the boat included.
