I knew it just a matter of time before they shut it down. Quickest way to piss off a property owner is to trash the area. It's happening in a lot of places and towns. Before long you won't have any place to drive to and fish because of all the trashies. Need to use the knock-out game on anyone who throws trash on the ground.

" so why not " Rolling Eyes ....the guy needs smacked up side his face! Hopefully this guy doesn't breed and pass along that mindset to his offspring, but chances are he's got 3 kids that he doesn't take care of anyways!

Although I don't fish there, I hate to see this for the folks that do.

We are our own worst enemy. Pretty soon we are going to be like South Padre Island and Port Isabel..no public access to the water except for a few public parks here and there. When will people learn! "no trash can" so take it with you when you leave and find one!

the Nueces River bed in Uvalde Co. used to be public access...
several 4x4 clubs used to have camps and gatherings in the river...
yall can guess the rest...
landowners got fed up w/all the trash (not blaming any clubs, most were good stewards) and got the state ledge on their side...
result... no more public access.
so a fun place to run gravel bars in your Blazer and camp-out is gone.
willing to bet that only a small % were the guilty... but parts of the river were turned into basically open dumps.

Don't blame the landowners at all. I'm surprised it took this long actually.

I have never been able to fish that spot because it is always so packed. Even when I take my boat I never anchor up there to give the people on land respect. There have been a lot of reds caught from that spot.

"As you can see, I ain't got no trashcan". Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

SERIOUSLY, you putz!!! How's about your d@mn car, which your lazy arse use to haul it out there in the first place.

But then, head out to Labonte Park after Easter weekend and you can see the "Corpus Way" in all of it's glory. Or the beach after ANY weekend. Or the turn-around under the Oso. Or .............. [you get the idea]
