I'd like some opinions please. I checked www.magicseaweed.com and the wave forecast shows 1 foot waves. Is anyone catching anything at the Packery Jetties? I don't have a truck, I don't have waders, & I don't have a boat; but I sure like getting dirty, fishing. My wife and I went to PINS both last weekend and this weekend. Between the two trips I caught about 25 hard heads on dead shrimp. The surf is very muddy. I didn't expect much. Everyone fishing was catching the same.

Nevertheless, I want to go fishing tomorrow. I heard that the little bridges are producing black drum and sheephead.

Since I've never been a Winter Angler. Could you tell me what time these fish bite and what to use to catch them?

I never mind asking simple questions so that I may learn from the more experienced Anglers on this site. Thanks

Hit the jetties this afternoon. Nothing I saw besides hardheads being caught. However everyone was fishing with shrimp or cut bait so that might explain that. Water was chocolate milk. I was throwing artificials but no takers.

They are. Puppy drum have been caught lately around the channels and stuff with shrimp. If you had a kayak/waders or if I had extras I would let you join me tomorrow but maybe in the future... Good luck!

Instead of fishing the last two days, I ended up taking my daughter on a date both days. I'll probably go tomorrow or on Friday. Thanks for asking
