Try a second, 3rd and then give up and drink scotch!! Seriously, it was rough going today. Went to Packery and tried live bait (mullet), dead bait, artificials all to no avail. After 4 hours, hung it up and went to North Beach Access just outside PINNs. Drove the beach and the road was at the base of the dunes because of high water. Chickened out and headed back to about 200 meters south of the north sticks. Nada. After 4 more hours of hammering it out, packed up and left as water was hitting my tires. Did lose a sand spike to the tidal suction too. Lots of jellyfish at Packery and some funky weed. Gonna bow up with Mr. Glenlivet this evening and try again tomorrow...sounds rough to but gotta try!
