How's it going everyone? Was planning a trip down this weekend and was wondering if the mullet run was still on and if the weed was there? Just hate to burn gas for nothing. Thanks alot in advance...[/b]

Surf was MEAN yesterday and high tide left with just enough road to drive on. Didnt see any mullet or heard of any mullet running all the way to the 20. No birds working. Seaweed was still present but it was fishable. Managed 3 pompano in the first gut which was a ways out.

like Tino said surf was mean. Water was brown mullet here in there. I caught two hard heads and a 38 inch jack
