It was much colder and the wind was blowing harder than I originally thought when I decided to take out the yak. I launched at a place that's usually too skinny to fish even with a yak but with the tides being up it wasn't bad at all.
The bite was slow at first but as the day went on it was getting warmer and the wind was laying down. I decided to explore a little farther than I've been before and I found some bait but still couldn't get a bite. I started changing lures and went through about a half a dozen before I found the ticket, then it was on! It was a good day and to top it off I saw a school of Jack Cravelle busting up some fish in the cut. Very unusual finding them way back in the bay. I wasn't fast enough with the camera unfortunatley...

Dang Chaz! I'm still waiting to take a trip with you on those yaks... Way back when, we talked about it, back when you were my manager lol. Nice catch though!
