Just a few observations and some questions from my trip south of Baffin Sunday/Monday. What do rain obstacles, butterfly migration and osprey have in common? They were all thick on the Laguna. The majority of avian life forms preferred resting on the protected spoils. If the fish were like the birds, they must have settled down in their protected zones too. Did you know it was the hottest cool front ever in recorded history? It certainly felt like it to me. The storms had an offshore flow and then onshore, keeping me busy cloud watching more than anything. I can tell you that not only did they form right over me, but a dark cloud followed me wherever I went. Dare I say brown was the color of the water? At the end of the trip as I put my gear away I was treated to be within sight of the FB Homecoming Parade that renewed my spirits. Ahhh, the Bluff. There is always a next trip.

Things I did catch...

A sunset

silver lining...

the kitchen sink...

my personal award for the most derelict cabin still standing goes to...... (please note the landscaping on the roof)

and life giving rain...

Did you at least wave at the Freshmen Volleyball float? [I was driving that one!! Cool ]

Too bad on the "dark cloud = no fish" syndrome. There were also loads of butterflies making their way down the beach.
