any one fish chiltepin creek (think thats how its spelled) it runs through taft and sinton. heard it was good for alligator gar

I've never heard of anyone fishing it but if it's deep enough and always has water it should be holding some gar.

A friend of mine used to have access to hunt and fish on Chiltipin. Lots of blue cats and reds.

Then he got divorced.

theres a video on youtube of a guy catching a alligator gar at that creek.ithe creek looked about 30 yards wide and had a flow to it.the gar was about 4ft long.

For gar, look at Labonte park on 35. I've seen some big gar in the river there.

thanks for yalls input. We ended up going and landed a 5 Footer. Lost 2 at the boat.
