I got a new toy and it's been serenading me like a songbird! Every time I take it out, it sings the same song, and it's beautiful music to my ears. Very Happy

I don't look to go alone, but it was my only chance this week and nobody else was available (on a Tuesday, go figure). I stay within cell range, file a float plan, and check in periodically. I enjoyed the quiet... Between blistering runs.

I love my Fin-nor's. Very tough reels for a good price.

It's a 5500 with 300 yds. of 30lb braid over mono backing. The Tiger rod is 7ft, 20-50lb.

"Professor Salt" all I can say is, "Unbelievable." Great video, you actually paddled all the way to the "Samedan Rigs," caught a nice ling and your limit of kings. It was a beautiful day and you took advantage. I like how you make a float plan and stay in contact through out your trip. I would not advise this sort of trip, but you have what it takes! Stay "Salty" my friend! Wink Smile
