Fished the ABC tournament today out of marker 37 with a good fishing buddy of mine. We took home 2nd and 3rd redfish and 2nd place calcutta moneys with me getting 3rd and my buddy getting 2nd. Caught 10 reds today total, and kept the largest ones out of the bunch. 2nd tournament of my life, got another one next week out of the bluffs landing. Go see Joe from chickenboy lures down at the boat show and getcha sum and get some juice for them as well!

Very nice. I got my personal best flounder....21" fat boy....a couple of weeks ago on a red/white Chickenboy shrimp under a cork. Another big one got away at the boat. I was excited as I do not usually hook up with those critters.

Thanks. His lures flat out work, and his business is 1st class. I stocked up at the expo yesterday and handed off the promised whataburger lunch. If your in rockport/fulton, Tackle Town does carry his lures. My largest flounder on rod and reel was also caught last fall on a chickenboy 4" shrimp. My buddy landed his PB 27-1/2" trout with one, ive landed a good bit of trout over 25" with them, and a couple oversized reds during last winter.

Maybe he will sponsor you in the future if you keep pushing his lures and buy him What-a-burgers. You might try a double double next time. Very Happy I bet next time you will take 1st place. Good luck on your next tourney.

Lol, maybe. But I don't want a sponsorship due to the fact that being sponsored would make me considered a "pro-angler" under tpwd regs for tournament fishing and I would have to fish against life long guides. I ain't that good yet. Working on it. Smile
