Went out packery Wednesday morning and hit the close rigs . Tried to cast net mullet in the channel but all we could find was yellowtail oh well we would end up catching everything on arties anyway. First stop we hook up to the rig and drop jigs and sabiki rigs . My buddy jay is first to hook up with a big king on his bay rod so he had fun fight ! After about ten minutes the kings at the boat and then the hook spits . Dam oh well try again . Not long after I hook up and land my best smack yet at 27 inches. The rest of the day we would catch red snapper , muttons, skip jack , a 4ft and a 2 ft class BT shark. The wind picked up as it got into the afternoon and it got choppy so we called it a day until next time , it's looking like next time might be Saturday Very Happy
