No disrespect intended nor am I looking to stir up any controversy....just wanting to know for my own info:
Why would you want(guessing based on your avatar/script) to leave Florida for Texas? I have wanted to do the opposite for a couple of years but do not think it will happen.
Thanks for any comments you might be able to make on any topic relating to Florida pros and cons vs. Tejas.

I spent most of my life in Texas. Work made me move to Florida. If you have ever been to Florida, for anything but a vacation, you would know it's not the best nor nicest place to live. My job has taken me all around the country and I can say Florida is my least favorite place. When I moved from Tampa, to Niceville, it became bearable. Tampa, or South Florida, for that matter, might be the biggest dump in the country. Imagine the Northeast U.S. with uncontrollable heat, humidity, crime, bugs and the list could go on forever. You might believe all the propaganda about Florida, but, like they say, it's a great place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll second that. I Lived in the Orlando area for 10 years, and I lived in many other places around the country from California to Michigan. Florida was the worst place to live/work or retire. for all the reasons above and I could name a few dozen more.... Damn crackers.....
