|
|
I just picked up my new F-150 last week and am ready to take her to the fishing spots!
Anyway, since ill be tossing a bunch of stuff in the bed, I figured that I'd go ahead and get a good spray spray-in Bedliner. What good places around Corpus are there to have this done? I'm looking for a quality liner which has good UV resistance since I don't want it to fade in this south Texas sun. I've heard Line-X is the best, but the closest dealer is in San Antonio
While we're talking truck accessories, what's you're preferred tint shop too?
Thanks for the help! |

Best tinting is Carizma in Ingleside, all my vehicles go there for tint and great detailing too. I need a spray in liner also, hope someone else has help in that department. _________________ Capt. Ross L. McElwee

| My buddy got turboliner from truckers equipment a year or two ago. It has held up well, but it is pretty hard - stuff will slide around on it. Could be good or bad for you, depending on how you use it. |

Thanks for the input guys! It looks like Truckers Equipment no longer uses Turboliner and uses PCS coatings instead. I wonder how that brand fares? I'm just a bit picky since its a new truck and that spray in liner ain't coming off after its put in, haha.
I'll keep that in mind about Carizma for the tint; I actually work in Ingleside so that would make it easy for me! |

| I recently had C&S Plating spray a bed liner in my new chevy and also spray on an undercoating. I am very happy with it. They are going to build me a custom hitch for the front of my truck so it isn't so low to the ground. These guys do quality work from what I have seen. |

C&S Plating is where the the salesman recommended I go when I bought my truck; I was leaning that direction because he seemed to know his stuff. C&S uses Armadillo Liner which seems to get good reviews. Did they remove your bed bolts before spraying and then put them back in? |

| If by bed bolts you mean the bolts on my tailgate that work the latch then yes. They also plugged the drain holes at the front of the bed before spraying so they didn't get clogged. Great people, great work. [/quote] |

C and S is the best we have in Corpus and have been for years. the others all come and go with their quality and materials. But C and S has is fast and very meticulous on their installs.
on window tint go to mo's tint on crosstown extension and Saratoga. he will remove your door panel and run the tint all the way down to the bottom of the window when most people will just cut the tint behind the little seal on top of the door panel. that is where the issue with tint normally arise from. _________________ "One more CAST" |

| I never had bed liner installed at C&S, although I have had several truck service bodies installed. Al does a great job, he is a very hands on owner and is serious about quality service.........cC |

Congrats on the new F150! Bought mine a year ago, and love mine!
I don't know if they have Line-X in Corpus, but that stuff is the bomb. My truck came with the drop in liner, and I bought a toneau cover and bed mat. At some point, I will replace the drop in with Line-X spray in. Several of my friends up here have it, and it's tough, with enough texture to stop stuff from slipping too much. |
