I had a great time fishing with Zack and Skipper in Zack's Majek yesterday. The water was better than Monday according to Skipper with some green back up in the Bird Island area.

Fishing was tough as far as keepers yesterday. I must have caught 25 trout 14 to 14.75 inches.

We almost had some reds at the north end of Summer House Flats.

Here is what the water looked like there

Skipper giving a complimentary shove to get us going again.

The water here looks worse than it really was. This was mostly due to the angle of the sun. It was really sandy green.

Lots of cownose rays in the flats too!

Skipper and Zack also got undersized trout and some skipjacks. We didn't use live bait just soft plastics, some topwaters, gulps, doa shrimp etc.

Thanks for the report. I went wading at bird island last weekend and the water quality and fishing was horrible. I had perfec sized live shrimp and couldnt buy a bite for 5 straight hours. Wish I had a boat to get down south.

Thanks for the report. Honey do's this weekend but next I am headed your way. Very encouraging to see some decent water. If we can get these april winds to slow down I bet some damage can be done even with BT.
