Hit the beach around 9am Friday. Went 3mi. SBH found some bird working. No weed or bait in the water. Used fish bite's & live shrimp. Managed three whiting & two sheppies. Around 1pm weed started rolling in. Packed-up and headed to SPJ water looked alright but still no bait. Fished live shrimp under lemon rig no takers. Moved to NPJ same. Headed to Port A to hook up with our friends Scott & Charlotte. Hit the north jetty Saturday morning with live shrimp. Water was off color and still no bait. Hit the surf side tons of little sheepies & black drum. Managed two keeper sheepies & three drum. Out of bait by noon. Picked up some shrimp from PollyAnna, took our catch for dinner. Sunday tried again. This time with some dead & live shrimp. Breaker where rolling over the jetty, stayed around the surf. Caught a 8in whiting Scott rigged it up and put it out on the channel side. After an hour drag was screamming, got wrapped around a rock and lost it. Caught a tons of little fish but managed ten drum and a pomp. Gave up at noon headed back to SA. Here are some pics of the trip. Weather was nice & it was good hanging out with ole friends. Try again in May.

Thanks for the post and the pictures. Proud of you for grinding it out. Nothing like the time you spend, on the sand, with friends.
