Stickemsick

Sunday morning (4-14) my son Tyler aka Stinky and I grabbed a quart of live ones and honey bun and some skittles of course from Bluff's marina & down to the cut we went. I don't think I have to tell some of you the conditions were outstanding to say the least! I ran as slow as I could bout 35mph and he still ended up with my hoodie over his life jacket which we had to stop and put on about half way there oh ya and clean his shades and go tt.

Then we were headed south again and he crashes out so of course I had to speed up just a bit, anyways we get there and anchors away and boy did he wake up quick grabbed a live one I put it on his hook and literally 5 minutes later he got to land his biggest trout to date measuring 24"

Even though that all that really mattered we kept doin what we were doin and he got to reel in a few more nice specs and I didn't see it but he got to experience losing one as well, and boy was he upset! Overall we had a awesome time and were blessed with a little luck the wind started to pick up a little around noon and my wife is always telling me not to keep them out all day so we headed in with 6 keepers 4 of which were 24+ we landed a keeper red but just barely so we let it swim oh ya and a sting ray...Stinky's favorite adversary on a hand line. Didn't get pics of the fish till we got to his Nana's house so here they are.

Almost forgot Stinky won the make believe tournament he started with me after he caught the first one...HaHa good times & even better memories.
