|
|
What brand or model tent are you having luck with on the beach ? The last time I went overnight, the winds reminded me of Iraq, so when I woke in the morning, I had way to much sand in my tent. No camels, just lots and lots of sand. My top mesh section must be too large to let all that sand in. ??
Any Recommendations ? |

| Kodiak canvas tents are very nice. My buddy had one at sharkathon last year and he did not have any sand or water in his tent. Mine had lots of both that came in under the rainfly during the storms. They are a little pricey but it is one of those you get what you pay for items. Cabelas has them on sale sometimes. |

What about camping for two? My wife likes to camp with me so would you guys still prefer a double tent cot or a good tent? _________________ Great captains, the stuff of legend, are made not by what they have caught, but by what they have given back. |

Two tent cots
Honestly, my wife and I share the double. No problems. _________________ "Ya'll must eat a lot of fish" |

I recommend the Cabelas Alaskan Guide tent in whatever size is right for you. I have had mine for 5 years and it has spent about 50 nights on PINS. Very strong in the winds. Easy set up.
Tent cot if going solo or staying mobile.
Under the stars when you can get away with it. |

What did that camper cost you? What brand is it, and what does it look like inside? That looks like a neat little dude!!!

LMAO I can only imagine how that scenario would play out if I even suggested individual tent cots lol. Good to know that it's doable! Thanks _________________ Great captains, the stuff of legend, are made not by what they have caught, but by what they have given back. |

Buy a suburban, it's like a hotel room on the beach! If that's not an option....go with the tent cot. _________________ SOUTHERN CUSTOMS
