Lauren and Steve came by the house about 2:30 this aft. and asked if I wanted to join them fishing. Not much twisting of the arm needed. So it was Zia's guide to work.
First drift and neither Lauren nor Steve lost a shrimp. I picked up a 24" red and a 25" trout on my tequila eel.
Went about 50 yards to the east and it was a very productive 3 hours. Besides about 30 or so dink trout we came home with 20 trout and the 1 red.
Lauren and Steve with our catch.
Came home and while cleaning fish my son Randy and family pulled up. They had some fresh trout for dinner. |

| Good catch... we have been doing drifts in the afternoon and catching a lot of 14's that pull like they are 17 inchers. Very strong and full of fight. |

| Went on a mammoth wade yesterday and only pulled out specks with rat tails under a cajun thunder. Wish I had the boat to make a drift! Great report! |
