Port Aransas:
9 a.m.
Air temp: 61 with high of 69
Water temp: 64.8 (C.C. point 61.9)
Water color: Seafoam green with 6/10 clarity
Tides: high at 3:17 p.m.
Waves: 2 to 3 feet and choppy from S.E.
Birds: saw none hunting
Bait: saw none
Wind: 15 SE
Tidal coefficient: 103 to 104
Weed: None
South winds are back! Water temp has slipped 7 degrees this week
I fished the Port A jetty yesterday. There was very little happening.
I fished SPJ on Monday: kinda slow but I caught 2 small sheeps and a 22" red right next to the rocks on the surf side with dead shrimp.
I imagine the returning South winds will turn things on at some point today. Good luck out there! |
