I pretty much gave up on Internet Explorer a couple of years ago. It kept running too slowly etc and so I went to Firefox but lately it has been crashing so on my coworker's at the home office suggestion I downloaded Google Chrome and it rocks. Very fast and no issues so far. I am going to test to see if copying and pasting from word will get off at commas and apostrophes etc and will report on that later.

I developed a passionate dislike of IE years ago and switched to FireFox except for corporate's insistence on only supporting IE on several intranet sites. Recently using Chrome on IOS devices and soon to try on Laptop. FireFox seems to have gone into the toilet the last year or so.

Hi. My name is Chef Lefty. I too once loved Firefox. May have to jump to Chrome. Experiencing the same deterioration in performance.

I switched to Chrome about a month ago. Runs faster and less crashes than on IE. Happy so far.

Never have liked IE. Used Firefox for years but switched to Chrome a year or so ago and will NEVER go back to Firefox!

Hi. My name is CS [...Hi CS...]

Cool

Performance may have slipped on Firefox, but I try not to use anything by Google, as everybody knows that they are just a front for the CIA and they record everything about you and your online journeys. Shocked

Now, pardon me while I cinch down my foil hat with another layer of duct tape! [But seriously, I will stick to Firefox and poke IE in the eye with a sharp stick!].

Your 'banner ads' should tell you everything you need to know about Google.

I could open the dictionary at two places and insert two random words into Google Search, and the very next time I open corpusfishing, they will have found an "ad" for something to do with that random phrase.

I'm not paranoid, but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night [in a foil hat, no less!].

Now, who is taking odds that an ad for "Holiday Inn Express" shows up soon?

I've been using Chrome since it came out in '08 or '09 and love it.

IE is the first thing to get removed whenever I upgrade my computers.

I have been using Chrome for a few years now. I like the automatic spell check.

For my Android tablet, I have been using Dolphin browser and it preforms way better than FireFox. Just sayin.
