I was down working for a couple months around xmas time and besides the dredging at the channel there, they were putting in lights at the boat ramps at Packery. Was wondering if they have the lights going now and what kind of change it has made in the fishing back there? Also, can you still park there and catch some sleep like before?

Lights are up and running. They are no longer dredging. And a portion of that parking lot is currently being used for a staging area for CCPD and Apollo Towing during SB. No word on the fishing though.

yeah i wouldnt try napping right now over there. maybe after spring break, but not right now

I kinda figured it would kill the sleeping there but was hoping it would help the night fishing there with the lights.. It was nice before but I guess you can't hold back progress..
