Been using these for years on a fleet of Generators and trucks, one thing to note, they use battery and can kill a battery fairly quick, we have use trickle chargers and solar panels to overcome. as for pricing, $499. for a marine specific version is not all that bad. Think! what could you afford to lose on your boat that would cost less than $499. now think! what's the entire boat worth?

$499 + $100 for a charger. $600 to keep your stuff. (Maybe!)
