Fished the same hole that I fished last weekend and found out that someone has been talkin'.
Thrre boats stacked up right on top of my hot spot. Yep those boys were catching fish.
That's the bad news. Good news is I still caught fish. More fish at the lower end of the size limit this time. Did manage to catch. and release, a nice 28" yellow mouth. Hoping that will put me in good graces to catch and keep a 30 incher.
Fish were holdin' in deeper water today. The fish were still very much structure orininted. Rootbeer/Charturse tail seemed to work best, but my biggest was caught on a chart/gold/white - Corky.
Caught fish on a late afternoon wade between 3-5 PM. Bad weather good fishing.
