I have been searching on here for an article about hauntings and ghost stories on PINS. I wasn't able to find it. Does anyone have the link or could help me out. It was about certain mile marker maybe 30ish and a weird encounter there.

Those sure are some good stories thanks for sharing. I have camped out at the Mansfield channel and at the 42,20 and the 18 Mile Markers but never heard or saw anything but I'll pay more attention next time I camp out at PINS.

Look up some old posts from either Capt.Bill Sandifer OR Rudy (aka...Torpedo). It was brought up a few years back and both had good stories to tell about being out there in or around the 30 mile marker. Billy said he actually yelled at the ghost that was making chain-rattling sound. It was a great story. Well as for those of us who have met Torpedo...funny and great guy and knows alot about PINS...but likes to drink Laughing

Read some of the stories. Would make for some great campfire creepes. Still, don't think that I will hesitate to stay down there.
