Calm with a falling barometer, currently at 30.09. Humidity is 91% with an outside temp of 59. Getting ready to blast off to the South for some fishing fun. Being that it's Martin Luther King weekend I figured today we would do some drum fishing and some artificial throwing. For some reason I have a dream that fishing will be good. My fishing partner has just left to go get breakfast I will load up the boat and make preparrations for getting underway. Report to follow.........IMS.
Ready to go.
Todays catch. We had to work for them. They didn't jump in the boat today. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED.

Thanks for the morning weather report. I just wish you would give one from the Portland Causeway. My good friend Chris called me yesterday afternoon and mentioned he was off and rarin' to go. What Chris wants, Chris gonna get! Chris always says "NO" when it comes to getting his picture on here so I guess I'll take a picture of a crab or something. Have a great day and catch IMS! Looking forward to your report. |

Well it didn't quite turn out as planned. We managed 10 keepers outa 30. No drum just trout. Along the drop offs, color didn't seem to make a difference on plastics or type. We caught most on Chickenboy pumkinseed and a few on Norton sea shad in plum. The water was awesome today. I'm off tomorrow maybe I will try again. Also, it was skinny in the flats the tide was way out. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

| As per your norm, IMS, a very precise report, with a good days catch. Keep it up. Good luck. |

Don't hate me guys we really worked for them today. My arms are swelled up form all the casting haha. If it weren't for my co-fisher, there would only be 4 in the box. Bamared had it going on. The back of the boat paid off today. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

If you keep this up you know you'll have to change your handle to FullLimitStan.
I haven't seen my boat since the begining of Dec! |

I saw numbers of boats hit the e-brake in the boat hole flats. Some guy with a full boat of people in a boston whaler type hull went full speed into about ankle deep water. I saw mud go flying a good 20ft in the air, I bet he saw jesus for a minute..
Good job on fish, we didnt have any luck but did manage a undersize slam. The fish dont seem like like anything with northward wind. |

Yes we saw a couple of mud rooster tails. Once you are in commited in 3 inches all you can hope to do is dig your own channel and get back to some deeper bottom. I ran in some skinny stuff myself crossing from the flats into the ICW. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |
