Went out in the scooter this afternoon after a crappy day in the surf yesterday. Ended up with a kitchen sink slam! My buddy landed a 32" red and a 17" trout. I landed a fat 27" red, 24" drum, 16" drum, 15" trout, and a 17" flounder I actually faul hooked in its belly after it gave my jig a pop. The googans were thick today. We got to our 1st spot with no boats around, 32" red hooked up and pics taken, and 2 boats show up. Had some clown in a catermaran type boat burn my drift about 50-75 yards in front of me and a mile of open water behind me. He knows hes number one though.

Thanks
Sometimes you just gotta grind it out, and wait for all the googans to leave. Fishing is about patience, you either have them, or you become one.

Tomorrow is looking nice, think ill go check some water I havent been to in a while.

The fauled flattie. I knew it was a flattie as soon as I had it hooked, it would not get off the bottom! Got it up, it saw the boat, and made another run for mexico. The flatties follow me everywhere it seems.
