Does anyone know the who, when and where on this mount? It is obviously old and signals a message of days gone by. I always pause to admire it when I'm there.

The 411 is the owner James Danglade purchased the piece from some lady at a really cheap price.

I'll always look fondly at the stringer when I enter the restaurant - thinking it came from one of the great fisherman before us who left it behind as a testament to his life. I'd like to think the sheepshead seemingly was added as a visual punctuation mark to the diversity of what the resource we call the bay can yield. The mount may not have much monetary value, but it is priceless when measured in experiences on the water. Like when the Old Man of the sea left the remains of the great fish on the beach, the other fishermen recognized what he had accomplished.

Now...if the mount came from Louisiana, I would'nt give it much credit at all! Surprised (just kidding)
