| Anyone have some suggestions about waders? I've had a couple of hodgman nylon and rubber and they always leak around the crotch area after about four months. I'm gonna buy some new ones but too many choices. Are neoprene any good? Looking for some input on what you guys use. Thanks. |

I've had a pair of Red Ball Neoprene waders that are 12+ years old, though they were used alot, they were in storage for 8.5 years while we were overseas. I've used them 15 times this winter, as well as alot in winter in JAX FL...NO LEAKS |

I wear the breathable waders ( Hodgman/Columbia ) with the neo. stocking
feet. Wear synthetic pants and then fleece warm ups layered underneath with a pair of neo. and fleece wading socks and you stay comfy in the cold water. If you wear waders year round they will also be cooler in the summer months. |

| Go with Simms or Orvis breathables........just wear fleece or something under them when the water is really cold. just throwing money at hodgemans, they will leak its just a matter of time |
